Psyche/Leptosia nina nina is a very common and small butterfly I see around. I photographed this one in my garden. A huge variety of butterflies visit my garden every day, and I will share them with you folks as I manage to photograph them.
Posted for Macro Monday.
very pretty and delicate color.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful with such soft, delicate colouring.
ReplyDeleteDelicate was the word that came to my mind, as well. Beautiful capture!
ReplyDeleteSo delicate and sweet. Not at all overpowering, like some butterflies are. And the lavender flowers are delicate as well, almost fragile.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I thought at first it was just a leaf. Its a good camoflage for the butterfly.
ReplyDeleteThat butterfly looks so delicate and it blends right in with the foliage!
ReplyDeleteI love watching butterflies...this was a special treat today.

Hi Amela -- that is a lovely butterfly, very delicate. I'm impressed that you know its name! (I know birds, but although I love butterflies, learning their names had eluded me.) They're very hard to "catch" (by camera) too. I know what you mean by "as you manage to".
