Nymphea stellata......Floral Friday Meme#3

Photobucket
The plant that bares this beautiful flower, Nymphea stellata  is confused by many with Nymphaea nouchali, the national flower of Sri Lanka. This is a common plant in most of lowland Sri Lanka, in rivers, tanks, paddy fields, and swamps.

All right folks, now it's your turn to show the kinds of wild flowers that you see in your corner of the globe. Make a post on your blog, link to Floral Friday,  come back here, link to your post, and vist the other participants' links. Enjoy!
