Peacock Pancy

Peacock Pansy, Junonia almana is a common butterfly around here. I took these photos at my birding patch  a little while ago.

  3. I probably would have thought this one was a moth because of the coloration if you had not said it was a butterfly. It is so pretty. We have had a few flying about in the yard this weekend, but they really have not arrived as yet. Can’t wait. Beautiful photography.
