Where the hell did he come from ?

Tufted gray langur (Semnopithecus priam)

This guy just popped up at a car park beside my workplace this morning. Spectators all wondered how he got there, this species is not naturally found around Kurunegala. He seemed pretty tamed too, and willingly accepted bananas and stuff from people. He was not around by the noon.

Can anybody tell me what this is?

This little snake was curled up in my compost pile. Found it as I was turning the pile. Captured it in a jam jar and filmed it, then released it in a nearby abandoned land. I will be grateful for any help pinning down an ID on this one.

What The Heck?

Yep, the title of this post shows exactly what I said to my self when I spotted this little weirdo on a blade of grass on the edge of the driveway last Sunday. It was a  surprisingly bold creature, not skittish as most of the arthropods I've tried to photograph, but was all hell-bent on not letting me take a descent enough still macro. It was quite a leaper, could launch itself from one spot to another about six inches away.

Please take a look in to the video and let me know what in the animal kingdom this critter is. May be don't tell me, it's more fun pretending this is the extra terrestrial that I've always wanted to see before I die.
