Psyche

Psyche/Leptosia nina nina is  a very common and small butterfly I see around. I photographed this one in my garden. A huge variety of butterflies visit my garden every day, and I will share them with you folks as I manage to photograph them.

  3. So delicate and sweet. Not at all overpowering, like some butterflies are. And the lavender flowers are delicate as well, almost fragile.

  4. Very pretty! I thought at first it was just a leaf. Its a good camoflage for the butterfly.

  7. Hi Amela -- that is a lovely butterfly, very delicate. I'm impressed that you know its name! (I know birds, but although I love butterflies, learning their names had eluded me.) They're very hard to "catch" (by camera) too. I know what you mean by "as you manage to".
